Will Mermaid Melody ever be licensed?

Mermaid Melody is one of my favorite animes. I don't know why, but something just attracts me to it.... Anyways, oes anyone think it will ever be licensed? I know ADV licensed it once, then dropped it, but do you think another company will pick it up?

Del Rey has picked up the manga, though (titled by Mermaid Melody's "other" name, Pichi Pichi Pitch).

it has finally been licensed. hopefully it will be released soon. adv picked it up but under another name. Amusement park media picked it up. carli mosier is to be rina

Source on that? Honestly, I'd say if this show didn't work in ADV's boom years in 2003-2005, it's not going to work now.

I know it's not a very reliable source but according to the wiki page :

"ADV Films acquired the license to the anime on June 2004 for its North American release, but was eventually dropped due to difficulty in finding backers and securing a TV airing deal.[1] As of 2009, the anime has been completely dubbed but is being held by TV Aichi. It is unknown if a release will occur."

so a dub exists (presumably) but its just kinda sitting around :/
