Ahahah, 11.8 share for K-ON!! Methinks there was a typo for 1.8.
Also, is it me, or is Bleach only going on because it's popular in America and possibly elsewhere? The 1.5 share it's getting on a weekday prime-time slot cannot be impressing any of the TV executives. Though I wonder why they just don't move it to a worse timeslot to try something else there. |

Looks like Dragonball and One Piece taking a break made room for two extra slots in the top ten.
You're right about the typo, and Bleach actually was kicked out from its old timeslot last year (or was it 2008?), replaced by Stitch!. The ratings are poor and that's no breaking news, but i guess it sells enough dvds to keep running. |

So Bleach is more popular in America than Japan, while One Piece is more popular in Japan than America. I guess in America, pirates are passe, while sword samurai are passe in Japan. The grass is always greener.... And Stitch outpointed Pokemon, hahaha!

I don't think the ratings for Bleach in the US are all that impressive either. Also, Pirates are popular over here. Pirates with terrible fights and poor animation for about 300 episodes aren't. |
