They even acknowledged they were ripping off Conan! I wonder what triggered his changes.

Kudos to Juzo and especially Tenma. The former once again showed how monstrous he is by doing the impossible several times in a row. Tenma is even more impressive in that he stood his ground and had a match with the explosive undead golfer. Said golfer still seems to have some humanity in him somewhere.

For me, this show is hitting the same problem that Sakamoto Days did. I generally like the characters and the setup, but the fighting is just so tediously boring to me.

Please keep the romance between Juzo and Noren as minimal as possible please. If it does not go further than some gags and awkward situations.... fine I guess, more than that and it can get creepy. Kudos to Tenma for being quite special.

I mean Juzo doesnt want a romance either. And Im sure they'll find a way to undo it somehow. The show doesnt seem to want to go that way

You were thankfully right. The situation was resolved in a single episode and given how heavy Noren's love/obsession was that is a good thing. The episode was also a good reminder that Noren is very capable when she is not being kidnapped by super humans.

I appreciate that the side characters are also getting some attention. I prefer to have some slice of life calm between the action arcs plus it adds depth to the cast. Ending wise... I think I have not seen a gal transformation like that before.

I am not sure that the message quite lands what it was trying to do the small girl. Maybe there is some good intention in bringing her to queer bar owner, but the character feels like they feed into a trope that conflates crossdressers and trans woman, where they don't appear to be taking any hormone therapy for apparently being strong, but also point to transgender in saying they wish they were born a girl. And I think the lesson was supposed to be some level of you should be happy what you have because someone else would be jealous, which is a terrible lesson for bringing a queer/trans person.
If Tamada wants to get jacked, I don't think it should be a punchline of a joke in being ridiculous, and just dismissed as not worth trying.

Given the snippet in episode 12 Mei is now a firm believer in the power of muscles.
I am glad that there will be a second season because the first one was a lot of absurd fun. Hectic over the top battles with some relaxing slice of life thrown in plus Juuzou slowly coming around to think differently about his own future. I do wonder how Noren's mother feels about the whole absurd arrangement though plus what her father is trying to accomplish.

Yeah, I noted that part too. I still don't think it should just be a joke.
I also noticed that this episode both drew attention to the heteronormative aspect of the whole battles to date Noren, with girls apparently not eligible. And also had the guy in the chair cross-dress as his mother, which I guess him showing up as a man/father was not on the table. I don't want to just start saying there is a bit of pattern, but there kind of looked like it these 2 episodes.
