Well that's good news, although considering how ignored it was by English-speaking fans I wonder if Crunchyroll will bother to pick up the new series. On the other hand they do have a record of persisting with less-popular shows so I'll remain optimistic. For what it's worth, with the possible exception of "Level-E", it was the show that made me laugh the most last year.

Crunchyroll always bids for every series - the question is whether the rightsholders will take their bid for season two.
