That really takes me back. I used to watch that show in Cartoon Network as a kid. I remember thinking shiine was a girl and thought there was a shoujo ai thing going, despite not understanding that kind of stuff.

I'm so glad that Akazukin Cha Cha is being re-introduced to a new audience!
I remember reading that Akazukin Cha Cha had a mention in one of the Death Note live action movies. I wonder if Japan is going through a Cha Cha nostalgia phase?

AkazuCha is pretty much the best anime ever produced.
Hooray for the manga restart. In modern Tokyo, huh? Weird.

Azakukin Cha Cha coming back as older characters? That following the recent publication of new Ojamajo Doremi light novels based on an older version of the original elementary school age characters?
In short, will we in a couple of years' time see new anime for an older shoujo audience (12-16 years old) based on these revivals?
