While I was looking for more info on the censorship of The Country Burns, I found at www.japantoday.com that Iirs Chang had been found dead of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, just outside of Los Gatos, CA. friday. Ms. Chang was the author of the 1997 book the Rape of Nanking. A book that to this day is denounced in Japan as lies.
All this coming on the heels of the censorship of The Country Burns. God Bless Iris Chang, may god be holding your hand. |
