I see Bandai didn't waste anytime getting Gundam 00 a R1 release. Now I just wish they would release Double Zeta Gundam, and Victory Gundam in R1 even if it was just subs, I would buy it.

...Zegapain may be the strangest name for a robot show yet. But is it any good? Because if it is, I'd be all over that like a starving man on a New York strip steak dinner.
EDIT: Gah! FLAG is a robot show too, eh? Again, same question applies. |

Flag is great. If you liked Gasaraki you'll like this one too. No mystic stuff, just war journalism, politics and some realistic mecha action. The show has a pretty hit or miss gimmick though (everything is shown from a camera's POV), so I suggest watching some clips before buying. Haven't seen Zegapain, but isn't that the one with the really toyish looking CGI mecha? |

May is a bit far out considering how far it is on TV but it's good to see it, waiting to pre-order soon. Hoping by the next bandai sale

I know, it's like an all new intensity of pain. "That hurt so much, it was Zegapain!". However, i've been kinda waiting for a Zegapain complete collection to come out to watch it, although i'm not sure if i should/could spend my money on something such as it. May though, may maybe a little far off for me to wait. Oh well, not my choice right? ... Nope. -Elfen12- |

Well, I guess ANN answered my question for me. Oh well, Flag still looks interesting.

I have been waiting for both Zegapain and Flag collections.
Zegapain improves greatly from a "yawn - seen it before" beginning to where I was eagerly waiting on the next disc from Netflix. I would have given up if not for a mid series episode included on a Newtype (rip) preview disc. Flag should be seen once before buying, I loved it, but it is different and people I thought who would love it, could not stand the presentation. |

I haven't seen FLAG before and I'm thinking about seeing it since it looks interesting. I'll probably rent it before I decided if I want to buy it or not. |

No Code Geass R2?
Well I guess they are waiting for the adult swim broadcast to finish. I might pick up Gundam 00. Are those actually Box sets including 9 or 8 episodes or single releases? |

Gundam 00 is my first foray into the Gundam franchise and I've been surprised how much I enjoyed it. (The first season could be brutal in places though. You know where I'm talking about.) I hope to see season 2 on Sci-Fi soon. |

The minute count Season 1, Part 1 clocks in at 225 minutes only? Really? Assuming that an episode is approximately 25 minutes, that is only nine episodes. I still will pick up the special edition since I have heard a lot of good for Gundam 00. Still, I wonder how the rest of Season 1 will be released considering it is 25 episodes. If I had to guess, maybe 9 (Part 1), 8 (Part 2), 8 (Part 3)? Last edited by The Naked Beast on Fri Feb 20, 2009 2:53 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I've seen both. ZZ Gundam gets better after the half way point, but has a okay ending, that could have been better. victory is quite good in it's own way and the darker tone makes it seem more realistic in a way. I've seen that part of where spoiler[someone got too close to the beam saber. Needless to say there are quite a few death by beam saber in V, with all of them being quite great IMO.) ] |
