I'm surprised there is not a topic on this yet. I've seen that there is quite a few abridged series for anime out there (Bleach, DBZ, Naruto). As an anime fan I would like to know what some of you guys think about them. I personally like them (if there good) and gives me a chance to laugh at series, also to look at it in a different light. I know however, that the creators are probably not to fond of them.

I believe it was the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged series that started it all. And that one is actually funny, although you need to be familiar with the original series to get some of the jokes.
Most of the others were just attempts to copy YGOA and aren't as good. Even YGOA tends to fade around the middle. |

Yeah I see what you mean about that, DBZ Abridged series was starting to get stale after the saiyan saga. |

I've seen just DBZ series by TeamFourStar and I enjoyed it. Although some jokes didn't appeal to me, they have a lots of good ideas. I was surprised that there are fans who can put so much time and work to honour their favourite series.
