Hey, is Kevin's sexy butt really intentional or it does come with the Princess Peach costume? Either way, it's funny thinking how Robin drew the curves...

And to think, without Robin's commentary, we may have never known that butt-dance wasn't completely random and actually based on Japanese mythology...

Even without the mythology it is a hysterical comic.

You have no idea how hard I'm laughing now, it was already a funny comic but to see you were basing it on actual mythology? Pfffff, had to show that to some of my friends.

I just noticed the Arrested Development reference in this strip. Awesome!

Could the future "special edition" strips include a link to the original, so we can see the strip in context (previous/next strips etc)?

And I, as someone who LOVES the show and watched the DVDs at least once a year, is ashamed to be overlooking this reference. Would you be so kind to point it out to me? |

I think omnistry is referring to the "kookoo kachaa" noises they're making, which is the same sound that either Gob or Lindsay use in their chicken dance. |

Here I thought that the butt dance was reference to Shin-Chan (dub). Thanks for the clarification Robin!

Actually, I wanna say George Sr. IIRC, Gob was, "Ka-ka-KAA!", Lindsay was, "Cha-CHI-cha!", and Lucille was, "a-COODLE-doodle-doo."
And, yes, I, too, just noticed this. *hangs head in shame* |

Wow, I thought it was a Crayon Shin-chan reference instead.
Did anybody else think so as well?

If I understood the commentary correctly, it was completely random. Coincidentally, it ended up matching the mythology. |

Takeyo, now that you mention it I think you're right. Good memory.
Incidentally, Robin might very well have based the butt dance itself on shin-chan, but simply threw in the George Sr. chicken dance noise as a bonus. |
