I love this PR concept.

As a civilian worker for USA-J (US Army Japan) it is important to have good relations with the host country.

I hope to see more joint concepts for this side of the pond. Maybe a translated version for the JICC (Japan Information Cultural Center) in DC?

Or maybe is a very subtle way to say to the Japanese: We are the U.S., your Big Senpai, you must provide us Anime, Manga and electronics to us. Shocked

This is most defiantly something I'm going to keep my eye on! If I could I'd like to get a position in the army over in Japan! We truely have a great alliance with Japan which should continue for another 50 years!

Quote from Sankaku:
Quote:
I have unfortunate news. It seems the illustrator responsible for the Japan-America alliance comic [Yukio Hirai, who also works on Mari-tan] has been getting defamatory mail. The illustrator is actually non-political.

The story and text were my work, so if there is something you want to say, say it to me!

[...]

And the manga’s message is that of the US military, and not that of the illustrator.

Looks like trouble in Nippon land....
