So one of my favourite music artists that I listen to is Juanita Grande. She is a talented indie French-Canadian singer who works in various music genres including lounge, electronica, and jazz.
She apparently also does voice over work which I was not aware of. It just so happens that today, she posted a Youtube video of her voice over demo. I was astounded by the range that she has. She does a pretty good job of doing various accents as well as male voices. Lol. I was just thinking it would be awesome if she was dubbing anime. What do you guys think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylUw9IJfEoQ |

The first couple seconds were a little difficult to understand for me.
After that though, I found the audio demo pretty pleasing. She seems pretty diverse... |

Yeah, I know I post weird topics. I guess I'm just tired (for a lack of a better word) of seeing the same discussions being thrown around in various forums (i.e. what is your most favourite or hated anime/episode/ending/character, why do people stigmatize anime and how to convert non-fans, what should I watch, learning Japanese, etc.). Or maybe it's just me? Lol. I just wanted to try to bring something different in to talk about but whatever. |

I personally think you have an interesting idea for a topic. I just wish I knew more VA's demos like that one to contribute something more. As previously stated, I kinda liked her work. I'm not really a big dub fan either.
