I'm curious, of all the Madhouse anime adaptations of CLAMP works, are there any that are particularly less or more succesful?

I think it depends on what you mean by sucessful. Like, anime being better than the manga?
I think Cardcaptor Sakura's anime was more of a sucess then they thought it'd be. It might even be bigger than the manga.

Like, anime being better than the manga?. | Just generally successful, as in, when they were completed, the production team was satisfied with their work. Fans were satisfied with the way the overall feel was kept intact and the artwork was sharp and well colored. I'm not talking about making money, or the animes being better or worse than there manga counterpart.

Might be better to ask in the anime forum, as you'll get a larger number of readers.

I believe they were all pretty successful, especially CCS and Chobits. I think the Chobits manga was bigger than the anime, because a lot of people didn't seem to like some of the changes Madhouse made to the story. (I have to admit, Chobits would have been better off without a few episodes.) Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Madhouse "changed" almost all of CLAMP's work at least a little bit?
