updating email

OK, so how come the board doesn't allow you to update your email? I tried to update it a couple of months ago and my account has been inactive since then. Well anyway, I got a new account as ShellBullet Too.

My question is why does it do that, it seems like people should be able to update their account without losing their account.

Have you replied the verification mail sent to your new email address?

That's the point, I never got a verification number. I thought it was kind of weird. I wondered if I accidentally typed the wrong address when I updated my account, but there's no way I could go back and check if I did.

You can change your e-mail addy, and the verification e-mail is then sent to the new address.

If you mistype your e-mail addy you're screwed.

I assume you mistyped your e-mail addy, since the one currently attached to the shellbullet acct is one character off the one attached to the shellbullet too acct.

Would you like me to update them appropriately and delete shellbullet too?

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I can change my email as much as I want without ever getting a verification e-mail...
