There are two persons with the name 金子匡邦.

Masakumi Kaneko

Masakuni Kaneko

"kumi" is not a viable Japanese reading for the kanji 邦. Due to the close proximity of the m and n keys on the keyboard, Masakumi Kaneko is very likely erroneous.

Yeah, definitely looks like a typo. Purge done.
