Someone might want to fix the title of this article, though I must say that "Gendo" sneaking in there is rather amusing...

Interesting. The character designs look similar to that of "Nausicaa".

Based on Ged's character design I would say the fans are going to be more pleased with his looks in the anime than the horribly miscasted actor in Scifi channel's adaptation. Wish the pic was a bit clearer though. I can't tell whether those are the famous white scars on the left side of his face or whether it's merely the light reflecting off the side.
