Eh, let reviewers do what they what. It's their site, and they are free to express their own viewpoints about certain things. While I (or someone else) may not agree with them (for example, that Bleach should not be rated so low), the reviewer presents a fair argument and reasons as to why he does not like the series. If the review was just "bleach sux i giv it F!!!!111" then I would have a problem with it, but it's not.
And he doesn't really "make fun" of manga. In fact, he rated Battle Royale (which IS a manga) an A. |

Yes, indeed I have. I thought it was a wonderful read, atypical from your typical shounen, with an intricate and underlying plot under a traditional shounen setting. However, that reviewer doesn't seem to think that, and it's his opinion and his site. I disagree with his review, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to go and start a flame war with him. I agree with him on one thing though: The artwork becomes pretty atrocious in the later volumes. [EDIT] Seems like he only read 3 volumes of the series. I say it's too early for him to judge what the series is like (especially seeing as how the story suddenly gets way better in one of the later volumes), but each to their own I guess. |

Not everybody is gonna love Hunter X Hunter or Black Cat. Those are two of the weakest series in the shonen jump lineup. He did give Hikaru an A, so I can't say he "makes fun" of manga. His view is just a bit more extreme and he's just some random guy on the internet. Actually, you overreacting is a bit extreme as well. So just get over it and read something else. |

There's not a single manga (or any thing else for that matter) that everyone is going to like. As everyone else has said, a reviewer has every right to their own opinion and these are shared better than most. So yeah, get over it. You like it, this person doesn't, it really doesn't matter.

Congratulations, you're spam-tastic! The guy's a reviewer, it's his job ot be critical. Get over it. Black Cat is a generic title with little to no originality. In fact, I agree with this guy's reviews; I love his review of Pita-ten! (Must. Kill. At. All. Costs!) Thanks for pointing me to this site. |

He may be a little sarcastic, but I he gave Please Save My Earth an A+, Chobits an A, and Confidential Confessions an A-, so you know he doesn't hate manga with a burning passion like you seem to think he does.
(I don't think Pita Ten deserves an F, though. It gets a lot better after volume six, but for an eight volume total series that's not really good. The anime was dreadful, though. I'm just using Shia as my avatar because she's so cute.) |

I just read some of this guy's reviews and I was wondering: Did anyone else get a homophobic vibe from him? He warns parents that Demon Diary presents "an argument for gay marriage" Where is he getting that from? Then he says Legal Drug pushes "Clamp's gay agenda". It's so rare to meet a manga fan whose homophobic that I wonder if I'm just taking his words the wrong way. Any thoughts?
Oh, and Doubt!! totally deserved a better rating then a C-. |
