I heard a lot of good things about this series, and was thinking about picking this up when the dvd come out. I only have one question. Does this show have a main character,or does each episode have a different one?

From what I saw in the first few episodes their are two central character the story revolves around. But some episodes are based on other ninja fighting each other, but I still believe that the two main characters are the focal point of this series.
I am also excitied about this series I have it on my Netflix ready to go as soon as it is released.
Till next time,

I Too think that basalisk look's extreamly awesome and I cannot wait for the DVD. I have the first volume of the manga, Wich is simpley fantastic. Furthermore I can say that I expect the Anime to live up to the Book! I have Noticed that Funimation has been going all out in the DVD box set's lately. Speed Grapher, and Samurai Seven to be exact, Had Really Great Box Set's. Samurai Seven Was the best, I thought. So lets hope that Basalisk Go's the same way!

Boxset are releases that contain a large number of episodes or an entire series. What I think your thinking about are the artboxes, which hold the entire series, difference being your only get vol 1, or vol 7 with Samurai 7.
As for Basilisk release format, it appears that it's going to be much like Speed Grapher. each volume appears to have two version one with limited slipcase, and also I hope that the box is similar to Speed Grapher. That case is gorgeous, the art for trinity blood looks to be awesome as well, can't wait!

A basic way to describe the Basalisk anime is "Ninja Romeo & Juliet". Beautiful animation and char designs.

Yeah that what I was getting from the first few episodes that I watched before it was picked up by Funimation. Also the animation did look pretty slick, I am hoping that the story ends up being pretty good.
I wonder which of three (Trinity Blood, Speed Grapher, and Basilisk) Gonzo titles (From that same time) will end up being my favorite.
