As much as I dig Blade, I can't help but feel this is going to be another letdown like Devil May Cry was. Totally should took the Wesley Snipes character model too imo.

..Well at least it's better than Soul Brotha Blade.

Wonder how this'll compare to the live-action movies....

Well, at least the staff would be paid probably more than usual, given it's a Western commission.

Can we get something a little more off beat like an anime adaption of American Gods or something? And not something that has been run into the ground, and while it might have guaranteed sales, also has a relatively low ceiling of how far it can go. I wish the economy was better so people would actually take some risks......

I want to like this, but from just the trailer, it looked like a run of the mill "kill stuff while being melodramatic" vampire action anime to me. Of course, I'll try to watch the first episode or so, as to not judge the series at face
value. Still, I'm kinda braced for disappointment with this one.

When most of the audience haven't heard of it? When's the last time that happened? Laughing

Might be neat. Wasn't particularly whelmed in any way from the other three projects, but I like Blade more than I do Ironman/Wolverine/XMen, so I'll probably enjoy it.

Marvel USA also posted the trailer. Oddly enough, without translation...

If there's anybody who does that kind of thing well, it's Madhouse. Cool

Ugh. So they made him bald? Forget it then. Barely had any interest in the first place. Now I have none.

Actually, what Madhouse REALLY needs to do is finish Shigurui: Death Frenzy.

Devil May Cry was disappointing...

Iron Man was okay...

Wolverine was disappointing...

But currently X-Men is pretty good!

Maybe Blade will also fair better!
