Under convention appearences it lists:
CNAnime (2006-09-01 to 2006-09-03)
He canceled at the last minute. According to a CNAnime staff member, Mr. Sabat got a "big job" and couldn't attend.

I can second that as a witness, I was there at the show and I know for sure he didn't go.
