I'm hoping this winds up being better than vanilla DW8. While the vanilla game was fun (I LOVE how combo-oriented combat is over DW7), it had a bunch of spots where stuff felt a little bland. The story isn't as intense off the start as DW7's was, and the conquest mode where you have to build us your base and resources gets VERY repetitive VERY fast.
Since the empires games always seemed to be where the Warriors series shines (Sam 2:E is one of my favorite action/strategy games EVER), it'll certainly be a must-buy for me if they release it here in the US. |
