Huh, a sports anime that features the main cast as all girls..I haven't seen this lately. Nor have I heard of the first season.

The first season was a charming bit of fun... to be expected from the man who brought us "Welcome to the NHK" and "B Gata H Kei"! Can't wait to watch this... wait, I don't have to!

It's not a sports anime. It's pretty much just character growth, coming out of her shell, etc. You really should check out the first season - the episodes are only a few minutes long, so even if you don't like it it's not a huge waste of time.

The Yama no Susume author has nothing to do with these 2 Anime/manga/Novels
