I want a ripcord Cup Noodles from Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. So much time would be saved.

How bout 'Gate technology from Cowboy Bebop? Or net diving gear from Ghost in the Shell? As for Devil Fruit, I'll "go there" and say how about a girl-boy-girl changing fruit? But ultimately I really want "power" From the new World! It would be fun to be the next Holy Sakura Emperor.

It would be great if this article were real, for a start.
And let's not even start on Doraemon gadgets.

I wish I could boot up an Amusphere and lose myself in a virtual world for a few hours.

Devil Fruit really wouldn't be so great if it were real.

I was going to whine about the quality of the article until I noticed it's actually an advertisement.

What would you get out of this article being real? I would love a real Rasengan from Naruto.

Not sure I love the idea of advertisements blended into actual site content. I mean, fair enough, it's clearly marked as such. Personally though that just strikes me as two things that should be kept separate.

Why?
I cannot think of any negative effect that this could have. What are you concerned about?
As for the idea of something from a Funimation show becoming real, there are literally too many possibilities. My mind is boggled.
I think of something and before I can start writing I think of something better.
I give up for now.

if I could get it I'd want the digital black bird fly camera shown in that one short scene during the first or was it third episode of freezing, as a photographer and a fan of vintage style that would be my dream camera

What about actual working Duel Discs, or the Capsules from Dragon Ball?

DAMMIT...they got me again EricJ2, I didn't see this was an AD! I totally agree with ikillchicken. While I agree with Kadmos1 that the fact that this "article" was written by an employee of an anime licensing company doesn't make discussing it illegitimate or any less interesting or fun in itself, it bothers me that this is meant to guide fan's thinking and attention toward Funimation properties for the ultimate purpose of sales while trying to hide that it is not really originating from information of interest to fans that the rest of the site contains. Small labels and words in corners following the format of other articles does not clear marking make, graphic artists know that corners are almost always visually ignored. Now I really wish I had "power" so I could punish whoever was responsible for this properly...

The article is clearly labeled as an advertisement. Just like the previous ones were.
You know what is great about this advertisement, which separates it from all the other ones blanketing the site, is the fact you have to willingly click on it to see it.
Amazing isn't it. A clearly labeled ad that you can ignore if you wish to.

Yeah, it's pretty clear that this is an ad. I don't think there's any denying that. But to me "advertorials" just seem weird. There's something disingenuous about them. Even if they're marked as ads by ANN, there's still this pretense in the articles themselves that these are editorials. And yet clearly they've been written with the intention of selling people on Funimation products rather than anything else. I don't know. To me that's just off-putting. If that's your real, underlying purpose just put up an ad that doesn't pretend to be anything but. Don't do this feigned, dishonest "editorial". I mean look, I'm not saying this is a big deal. So long as ANN marks them as ads I can obviously just ignore them. It's just not a practice I really care for. That's my two cents on the matter.
