I'll fully admit to not being a big fan of live action adaptations, but I will gladly see aabsolutely anything related to Chihayafuru, and I think that says something about the power of its story and characters.

*Chihayafuru* is a very great manga and excellent anime, right up at the very top with josei masterpieces like *Skip Beat* and *Nana*. I hope they sub this movie so we English speaking sorts can watch and understand it!

Knowing that this is coming leaves me with glimmer of hope that a 3rd anime run will come about. Of course I plan on checking the live action movie out.

It's still going as far as I've researched. 27 volumes and counting. I would be freakin' thrilled for a 3rd season. Very Happy

Season 2 apparently covered chapters 50 thru 93, and there are 145 chapters at present, so if a season--not accounting for filler, mind you--requires at minimum 43 chapters for a run then season 3 would be able to fit within that frame.
