If more American companies were more willing to do this, we could get more Tiger & Bunny fans here. As far as I know, it's been one of the more successful original anime in the last 5 years. A possible reason is that the in-series sponsors include real companies. In real life, unless you want to get sued from trademark infringement, you either get permission from the companies or these companies put some investment into the series production.
