Comes to show that Digimon still has a very loyal audience out there! Just get the trailer for the next film out and hopefully, things will be actually better than what we have now!

Happy the franchise is getting love on it's anniversary, but can't be happy when the original cast wasn't chosen to celebrate this important anniversary with it...

Hey hey hey, I want comparisons. How does that do against, say, the Kenshin movie for example? Laughing Laughing

Is it a good good movie?

The Kenshin live action films were great as originals and live-action films. These Digimon "episodes" were great as continuations to the old series.

I mean, opinions will always vary, but having just seen the first two seasons, I'm happy to say that I found Tri's first part to really fit in with the atmosphere of the first two seasons. Some people didn't like some things about Tri, but I didn't have as big an issue with them. If anything, the most standout criticism against Tri is its animation. The character designs do look better in motion, but it's obvious that the animators really didn't... do their best here. Not only do individual frames look off, but there's a noticeable decrease in frame rate and the animation looks pretty choppy (it gets better later on). At the very least, the story was character-centric and was enough to carry it along. The action wasn't horrible, either, and had its highlights.
In other words, it's worth a watch. Go ahead and judge it yourself when you get a chance.
