Nothing against Akio Watanabe's style, I think it looks great with Higurashi, and Umineko characters, but Rena on this visual really looks like how she is supposed to look.

Not sure where they're going with this but given spoiler[Rika's whole situation, they could pretty much do whatever they want ]. Returning to Studio Deen is interesting but modern Deen is really amazing. Teaser looks good

Modern DEEN is only good when Souta Ueno is director. Otherwise, they're very mediocre. If he's too busy with Dengeki Daisy, then I have little hopes for this.

Can we maybe get rid of sotsu by adapting the meguri manga. I can understand that covid happened and stuff caused the anime to be what it was.
I am just very confused as to what else besides sotsu clean up this could be. Meanwhile looks at the better umineko and rose guns days visual novels and the overlooked higabana just sitting there with nothing being done with them. Cicona doesnt count because he isn't going to do more with it. |

I really dont think it will happen, but it would be nice to have an explanation of how bernnkastel, lamda delta, and featherine actually work and function. Since that would then explain how higurashi actually connects to umineko

Gotta love Akio though. He did the character designs for my favorite visual novel series (Grisaia) and my favorite anime series (Monogatari). So I always keep up with whatever that legend is working on. |
