It was confirmed by his brother on Twitter that he committed suicide. This is very heartbreaking to hear.

This is very tragic to hear. Daigo was one of my favorites from Dairanger. Furthermore, suicide? I wonder what happened to make him do such a thing? Its quite a loss.

His brother never explicitly said that he committed suicide, and not in the Twitter post that you link to. In a separate Twitter post, posted before this one, he said the words "why didn't you contact me before deciding to die?" This is why other news outlets are guessing suicide, but again, suicide is not confirmed. |
