Well this gave me more confidence for the show. It has a slow start for now but with 2 cour, there's potential to develop a lot with its character cast and storytelling. Excited about this news.

Awesome news! These shows tend to be a slow grind, but a 2 cour is definitely helpful with building the character development. Enjoying it very much so far.

P.A does best with 2 cour anime series. I am sure I'm going to like this show as it progresses.

Nice news. Enjoying the show so far, though I do wish that the official subs found a way to point out that kabura means turnip, which is the town's main agricultural product, and that's the reason that they settled upon the Chupacabra as a mascot. Classic multi language pun.

Great news! This show is currently doing a very good job filling the Shirobako-shaped hole in my heart that I've been wanting filled for a while now. Hopefully with 25 episodes, this show can have enough time to develop its colourful cast of characters and story plenty for an enjoyable and pleasant ride the whole way through.

Sweet. I would have been happy with 12 episodes, but more is welcome. I am a bit surprised because with episode 2 things started to move faster, and the story was starting to come together; it sure looked to me like it was going to be one cour.

Hmm. According to all of my Japanese dictionaries, kabura is one of several alternative readings of 蕪 / 蕪菁 (and yes just kabu is one, along with カブラ、カブナ ), and the ra is not separately expressed in hiragana as in 僕ら and so forth in cases where it clearly is a plural from. So I don't believe that it is a plural in this case, but if you have a citation I would love to see it.

See for example http://www.weblio.jp/content/蕪菁 which just says that kabura is frequently used in the Kansai region.

If I am reading https://kotobank.jp/word/蕪-465716 correctly, it claims that kabura is the original form, which was changed to okabu in polite language mostly used by women (adding o- and go- to lots of nouns, which thr one Sakura Quest character from the town does a lot), and then shortened again to kabu.

With 25 episodes, Sakura Quest will be a blast for myself to watch! Smile The ins and outs of tourism can make for some interestingly peculiar moments.

As this has been one of my favourites of the season so far, I'm really excited about this news (it means I'll have lots of this and Re:Creators to watch for the next while).

That said, it looked like they were suitably building a 1-cour show, so it'll be interesting to see how this turns out in the long run.

When I was younger most shows were around 26 episodes long, 12 or 13 episode shows were very rare.
