On day 3 of the concert, staff were asking people not to use their mobiles in the auditorium before the start of the concert (Signs on entry to the auditorium from the foyer said "Do Not Use Mobile Phones"). This was partly understandable in that the organisers don't want people recording live events or having use of mobile phones disrupting others, but when the doors open time is 2pm for a 4pm start and not everyone can get to their seat in a few minutes, it left others heading out to the foyer to use their mobile devices rather than exchange twitter details with the person sitting next to them before the concert(s).
