I don't know if I would consider 300k+ per volume average to be meh.

For something they're trying raise up as the "next king of shonen" 300k average is definitely meh.

Isn't 300k average what most other fairly popular series like Food wars and World trigger do? I still fail to see how these numbers are average, but hey if you guys say so.

Food Wars was already pretty big before the anime though. I remember it selling 400k average.

I don't see what you are trying to say here, but yea a person can always be an ass. Wishing for the underdog to succeed is still a good cause. So I guess you agree.
