To be fair to these two, Microsoft does the same thing with Xbox. I can't remember if it's a sticker or a physical object that breaks when the system is open, result is the same - a non functioning part of the system used to determine if the system was opened so they can illegally void your warranty.

This is now just a concern? I'm fairly sure my PS2 had this warning on it because I had to disassemble it to install my swap-disk door to play imports (had two consoles and used the older one for the swap mod).
