The word "Cut" in the title suggests that they had cancelled it, not that they would host it. I clicked on it to read why it was cancelled, but found that it wasn't.

I know ANN does strive to keep reliability with their articles (no news organization is without fault). However, the word "cut" was perhaps click-bait.

The name of the festival is JAPAN CUTS. It's right in the article.
