When I clicked on the review for both Tokyo Ghoul and Lupin III, both links redirect me to a blank screen saying "Oops Sorry, there has been an internal error". Anyone know what's going on?

Links ? There's more than one kind of review of those shows.
Also, what server are you on? You can see it on the bottom of the page, like this:

I'm referring to the most recent episode reviews for those shows, Episode 9 at the time of writing this.

animenewsnetwork.com/review/tokyo-ghoul-re/episode-9/.132231
animenewsnetwork.com/review/lupin-the-third-part-5/episode-9/.132201

clicking on some other articles, I'm finding that the same error page is coming up when I click on those links as well

I seem to be on the Moeka-chan Server

This has been happening off & on for the past week. I can open the ANN main page, www.animenewsnetwork.com/, in Pale Moon 27.9.2 without issue. But no links from there to articles or the forum work. I had to back my way into the forum to be able to post this.

Example - the spring manga guide, animenewsnetwork.com/feature/2018-05-28/the-spring-2018-manga-guide/.132117, gets this error :

Code:
oops
Sorry, there has been an internal error.

The browser user agent id string is :

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.9) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/3.4 Firefox/52.9 PaleMoon/27.9.2

ANN's server string is :

All material Copyright © 1998-2018 Anime News Network. All rights reserved.
served by moeka-chan

I'm located in Kissimmee, Florida on Spectrum ( former Brighthouse ) cable.

Any help would be appreciated.

June 1st, still getting the "Ooops" error.

Best guess, moeka-chan is broken.

It's Saturday June 2nd and I have time to tinker with this problem on my end.

What I found was that if I installed a "User Agent Control" extension into Pale Moon I can then change the UA displayed to ANN's moeka-chan to the one for Firefox and all is well. If I connect to a different ANN server, which happens at random, then I don't have to change the UA. So maybe moeka-chan need work on her UA sniffing logic.

In any case this can be fixed if you can change your User Agent ID to one that passes the server's sniffing logic.

Since mgosdin's research suggests this is a UA issue, can you tell me what browser you are using, including the version # ?

I'm not experiencing any of these problems with Chrome. But the site also works fine for me using Pale Moon 27.9.2 x64

This issue is serious enough that if it affected a major browser, I'm sure we'd get a lot more reports about it.

Can you both list your extensions to see if you have any in common that might be causing this ?

Thanks. This rules out any problems specific to one server.

I'm using Google Chrome, version 66.0.3359.181, based on the number I'm getting from my control panel

Where would I get the extension?

Type chrome://extensions/ into your address bar (Chrome probably won't let you follow the link).

You're having this problem all the time, or only sometimes ?

Can you try clearing cookies & cache ?
