The animation is definitely bad. Like, super bad. I’m still watching the show because I’m mostly in it for the voice actors anyway, and at this point, I’m already over half way in. It’s too bad because I do enjoy the story as well. Hopefully all of these issues will be fixed for the home video release.

Wow, those do look like some pretty awful animation drops. Hopefully the home video release will be corrected. I feel bad for fans of the series.

If it can somehow top the awkwardness of Dynamic Chord’s music scenes and the infamous bike chase, then maybe! There’s always been some pretty terribly looking anime, but DC was baffling levels of “Why???” All seriousness though...Yikes. There’s mistakes due to short production times, and then there’s this. It looks like the entire studio just gave up. |

I tried to watch it on hidive but the production is so cheap. I love the voice actors but i can't watch the anime, the guys are not hot

I feel like a lot of anime adaptation from game that is targeted for female (e.g. Dramatical Murder, Dynamic Chord, and now Senjuushi) had been either really low on budget or the studio just don't care anymore because they know the fans (I mean, especially the voice actor fans) will still watch it.
QUALITY still appears once in a while even in highly proclaimed studio like IG too though (e.g. Psycho-Pass ep. 18) so I'm just hoping that this is just temporary meltdown and they'll release the fixed ones in BD. |
