So how many Sentai shows does this make that Crunchyroll has been streaming since the Funimation split?

I'm curious if Sentai came into a sizable amount of money with its streaming deal with CR, or if it is a case that Funi decided to not get carried away licensing shows this season knowing that the split with CR was coming and that simply left more titles available?

It can be a combination of both. I am also inclined to believe that Sentai got a good amount of money from HIDIVE, which probably wants to be more aggressive with content acquisition to become a more attractive service.

It is kind of early to understand how Sentai's suddenly started again licensing 10+ shows in one season, but I hope they can license at least 8-10 series per season going forward.
