Do I understand correctly that the film is supposed to be a shoujo, so how is it positioned as a “female story” based on a children's book for girls? In any case, as a person with Russian-Jewish roots, I am very happy to see a Russian artist in the stuff of this film.

Looks really cool, but the CGI in there (once again, like a lot of anime), could look a lot better than what's shown.
