...completely and utterly confused me. I mean, what happened? Did Miyu die? Chisato? I'm so confused... Help a girl out here!

spoiler[It's been awhile since I've seen it, but as I remember, Chisato died, Miyu and Larva lived, and they left it open for a sequel.]

I think the manga continues the story, or maybe provides an alternate story, but I haven't read any.
