I'm one of those fans Habu mentions in the video who grew up with the anime but never got to play the video games so I'm really looking forward to getting to play Survive. The idea of Digimon being yokai was explored in Adventure 02 and I'm excited if that's going to be a theme explored further in this game. The graphics and character designs look really nice and I can't wait for Survive to come out.

I'm more of a Pokemon guy than a Digimon guy but I guess that's mostly because the series didn't made any waves in the games department at least compared to Pokemon. However, now knowing that this will release in the Switch got me intrigued and in 2019 no less. I'm 100% confirmed gonna buy Pokemon Shield when it comes out but I wonder if i'll end up buying this game as well. I also wonder if this game will release near Pokemon Shield's release date and if that will stir up some inevitable comparisons.
