Mikako Komatsu playing a boyish character is pretty unsurprising.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised the mecha are CG, although the animation and action doesn't look as fluid as I'd like.

Conversely, I think the 3DCG is quite fluid compared to most other alternatives out there.

Their bothering with mecha? I love mecha, but i don't like dumb plot/stories with goofy characters in (heroes fighting monster of the week thing) self-contain world.
