Its to be expected but glad to hear its making good box office. I'd hoped to see the film whilst on my next trip to Japan but its more likely I'll catch it during a run here in the UK. That said if its great I'll be happy to see it again if by chance its still showing in Japanese cinemas by then.

I truly hope it lives up to the expectations. I really do.
I checked facts just to be sure - i could'nt believe it! First movie came out in Japan in 2007 - almost 14 years ago, second in 2009, third in 2012 - more than 8 years ago! Anno sure took his sweet time getting final movie out and being sidetracked by just anything and everything imaginable. I don't want to sound overly negative, but this project has been long overdue and part of excitement has been lost, if you wait and wait and wait for something to happen for a very long time, your excitement when it is finally released will be quite low. Just like waiting for Intel to release their next discreete GPU since i740... |
