I just hope they don't try to cancel this anime by saying that it glorifies Japan's war crimes or something.
World War II is an important and decisive part of Japanese history, but it is practically nonexistent in anime.

....makes it sound like the some 14,000 Japanese defenders faced the 47,561 odd servicemen of US Army,Marine & Navy ground forces all at once,
