I guess this will be one of Funimation's new Isekai's of the season.
Although half the fun of the sub will be the Re:Zero in-joke with the leads, though I'm sure they'll deliver a solid dub.

Honestly I'm very glad funimation managed to snag this show. Can't wait for the dub either.

I love the light novels. The first novel is about the Hero making a series of law reforms with the only "action" being political and some disaster relief. The second is about the civil war that comes from corrupt nobles rebelling against the reforms while an ambitious neighboring kingdom plans to take advantage with tons of action. Etc. etc. lots of political maneuvering to improve the country short and long term with military action required afterword. Oh, and lots of pretty girls, most of whom are in love with someone other than the Hero.

Enjoy the light novels, but I feel the story really peaked at the first big arc in volumes 1-4. Still, look forward to this.
