This looks really good, reminds me of the pirate arc of Yona of the Dawn. This is the first time I've been really excited for a Crunchy original.

Edit: and Yuki Kajiura on music too!

Given that Crunchyroll blocked the video trailer here in Asia, it's pretty much Worldwide ex Asia.

I assume this means the sub will be on CR and the eventual dub will air on Toonami. If that's the case, I hope the Uzumaki sub will stream on CR as well.

This feels kind of topical considering One Piece is currently on the Wano arc and this is pirates + ninja's.

From the article:
Quote:
The Crunchyroll and Adult Swim co-production will air with an English dub on Adult Swim's Toonami block, and it will stream simultaneously in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll this summer.
.

Emphasis added.

Given the track record of Crunchyroll Originals, I don't have the highest of hopes here. But if Fena can be a fun and relatively feminist adventure story, I'll be down for it.

Sucks for dub-watchers outside the US or those without cable. The FLCL sequels’ dub still is Adult Swim’s website exclusive (although they’re free now, but still US-exclusive).

Noblesse, Gibiate, and most of all Ex-Arm. A bunch of others haven't been received so hotly but those three are probably the worst offenders.

Though they have had some good shows like Spider
