That's the point. Crunchyroll isn't used for anime in Japan. They only use it to watch Crunchyroll originals there, which pretty much meant RWBY up until this year.

Crunchyroll app is great! I remember when my friend recommended an anime to me but I couldn't find it on YouTube. This was the best option and it definitely got me to love anime! The only little setback I found was that some anime have a bit to many ads, but I guess they are sort of just like commercials, right? Definitely recommend!
