It's not "becoming", BL live action TV drama adaptations have been a thing for a good while now. They just haven't been reported on, TV drama adaptations rarely ever do.

It's not "becoming", BL live action TV drama adaptations have been a thing for a good while now. They just haven't been reported on, TV drama adaptations rarely ever do. |
No, there's a point to be taken. It wasn't until these past 3-4 years that there were live-action BL drama adaptations in Japan (mostly due to the success of Ossan's Love). Before then, a lot of BL content were direct-to-video movies.
