I forever grateful that there was no Fujiko or Goemon. If I see one more Goemon origin story, I would scream. And, I flat out hate Fujiko with passion.

Really enjoyed this, and would be happy if they made it the canon origin story. Animation was also really good(though I guess that was to be expected being n ONA). I get why Goemon and Fujiko weren't here, as Lupin met them later.

Which is weird since in most canon this applies to Jigen as well who if I’m not mistaken originally is supposed to be somewhat older than Lupin both of whom are supposed to be older than Goemon.

I thought Fujiko’s most defining trait (besides her sex appeal) was backstabbing?
