Well, keep voting LDP in power and get use to see consumption taxes keep going up. Remember temporary bump in taxes from 5% to 8% for emergency 3/11 reconstruction funds? It’s now 10% and Kishida wants more for JSDF and more to pay for dialing pension system. Don’t expect this tax to go away anytime soon.
