I really wish that this manga didn't stop getting published in English. It was so fun.

Just a couple of corrections: The manga began serialization in Viva Princess in 1976; it didn't start in Princess Gold until 2008 (per the Daijisen encyclopedia). And vol. 39 was published in August 2012, not January 2014 (per Akita Shoten).

Same! I recently picked up first two volumes, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I hope some English publisher rescues it and releases a digital version of the CMX translation someday...
