Really Appreciate Mr. Osmond's insight in this review and pointing out that the author used a lot of quotes from public sources (ok) but not as I would say "doing it right" by developing the personal connections to directly interview the people involved to find what they really experienced. I understand that would be extremely difficult and time consuming given Japanese sensibilities and society as well as the notoriety of the Studio but would be needed to justify the price tag and give history a more rounded and grounded perspective on the Studio. To me, if you can't do something right, don't bother because otherwise this book seems more like a money making exercise than a collection of rare insider perspectives...
