Another anime where Sumire Uesaka is hopelessly miscast. Why does she keep on ruining my favorite titles with her overly-manic vocal style?

I'm totally with you on her not being miscast, I honestly think she was a perfect casting choice. The only one of the announced cast, and since it seems they are using the same VAs as the drama CDs, that I don't like and feel was miscast is Ludwig. He just feels too deep voiced to me.

I'm also think Umehara is not good for Ludwig. Umehara is like the voice of a bishounen character or a cool-type character. I need to see the anime but I still would have liked HanaKana for Mia. Uesaka feels more fitting for Miabel but all this is just personal opinion as a LN reader.

Hearing some of Uesaka do the lines in the JP audiobook, she was a good choice for Mia, though I do agree she would have been even better for Miabel. Though it does seem that the anime casting is following the audio drama's cast, so if the anime does reach that point, Miabel will be voiced by Maaya Uchida.
